  🌓THE SPHERICAL SHAPE
               OF THE EARTH🌗

In the early times,people believe that the earth is flat.for centuries, men ware afraid to venture out too far ,lest they should fall off the edge. Sir francies Drake was the first person who proved that the earth is spherical. where he sailed around it in 1577.
The reasons fallows regarding this prove oneof it the alternation of day & night.the *QURAN*say in suratul lukman c:31 v:29

(ألم تر أن الله يولج الليل في النهار ويولج النهار في الليل.)

Seest thou not that Allah merges Night into day & He merges day into Night.......
The word *merges* here means that the Night slowly & gradually changes into day & vice Verser.This phenomenon can only take place if the earth is spherical.if the earth is flat there would be a sudden change from day to Night & from Night to day.
  The QURAN also say in suratuzzumar c:39 v:5

(خلق الله السماوات والأرض يكور الليل على النهار ويكور النهار على الليل ).

He created the heavens & the earth in true (proposions),He makes the Night overlap the day and day overlap the Night. The word *kawwara* means to overlap or to coil.
   the earth is not exactly round like a ball but geosperical I.e it is flattened at the ploes. The fallowing verse contain this description S-Naziat c:79 v:30

           (والأرض بعد ذالك دحىاها)

And the earth moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expense). The earth shape is like egg so the Arabian word for egg here is *Dahaha* which means an ostrich-egg.

      Thus, the QUR'AN correctly discibe the shape of the earth be for the birth of sir francies i.e1400 years ago.though the prevalent nation when the Quran was revealed was that the earth is flat.
